Vancouver, British Columbia
You are cordially invited to a speaker event at the Vancouver Club,
With:
Ms. Tamara Vrooman– CEO, Vancity
Born in Victoria, raised in Kamloops and educated at the University of Victoria, Tamara Vrooman is a British Columbia homegrown success story. She's had what can be described as a meteoric rise through the Government of BC's public service, becoming the province's youngest deputy minister, with two such positions—Health and Finance—tucked under her belt by the time she reached her mid-30s, and as a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for outstanding public service.
Tamara Vrooman has been widely recognized for her achievements and contribution, both in BC, with the Association of Women Finance 2007 Knowledge and Leadership PEAK Award, and nationally, as one of Canada's “Top 40 Under 40” which recognizes individuals for their vision, leadership, innovation, achievement, impact and community contribution.
Please join us for an event with one of Vancouver's finest community leaders.
For seventeen years the Pacific Club has been Vancouver's most contemporary speaking and social club, uniting young professionals from business, commerce and the arts to interact with and be inspired by local leaders. We are a not-for-profit club that provides our members with a unique opportunity to both network with young professionals from different sectors and to interact with industry leaders. This partial list of our past speakers should "speak" for itself: Glen Clark - Former Premier, Brian Burke - Vancouver Canucks, Ian Telfer - Goldcorp, Warren Erhart - White Spot, Terry McBride - Nettwerk Music, Karen Flavelle - Purdy's Chocolates, Chip Wilson - Lululemon, Brian Scudamore - 1800GOTJUNK, (the list goes on...)
